Carlo takes the challenge and decides to shoot in Siquijor- an Island in the south well-known of its mysticism. But that’s just the beginning of things to come. The network assigns Doreen Jimenez as the executive producer of the new show. She has reputation of developing great shows for the network. But Doreen is Carlo’s former flame. They still have unresolved issues to deal with.
And now, she’s breathing behind her neck and has a hand in the creative decisions. She even replaced Carlo’s resident cameraman and writer much to Carlo’s disgust. Alex Alonzo, Carlo’s current girlfriend and the show’s host tries to calm him down and encourage him to ignore Doreen. During their stay in Siquijor nothing odd happens in the island.
So Carlo resorted back to his old ways- he stages a possession in order to get what he wanted because they’re running out of time. But like a catalyst- as soon as they’ve finished shooting the pseudo-possession and went back to Manila- strange things start to happen to each members of the team. It’s as if they’ve been cursed. Carlo tries to investigate what is really happening. He probes into the events and digs deeper into their footages with the help of his editor Neil. As he does, a whirlwind of chilling mystery ensues steadily building up into a hell-raising finale. In the end, the crew learns that truth is indeed stranger than fiction. But is it too late to redeem themselves?

Dr. Cleo Carrillo (Eula Valdez) is a famous dermatologist, whose roster of high-profile clients include beauty queen turned society empress Marilou Cobarrubias (Ruffa Gutierrez) and socialite Betchay Magbutay-Cavendish (Carmi Martin). He looks on an the husband disrobes to make love with willing and passionate wife. One evening when the husband leaves home for work, the obsessed young Danny seduces and then make love with the guard's wife. She does not resist. In several scenes, the film graphically illustrates the superficiality of sexual conquests without love.

The Regal Films’ horror movie “Tarot” starring Dennis Trillo and Marian Rivera also received a grade of A from the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB).
“Tarot” also stars Roxanne Guinoo, Gloria Romero, Celia Rodriguez, Nina Jose, Susan Africa and Alwyn Uytingo. The film is directed by Jun Lana (Mag-ingat Ka Sa Kulam). It is a frightening and enlightening take on the use of the tarot cards and its consequences.
Tarot centers on Cara (Marian Rivera) who has a unique gift. As a child she was able to predict two deaths in her family by reading her grandmother’s tarot cards. Cara soon realizes that the tarot cards may have unleashed a cursed. And in order to prevent the onslaught of misfortune, Cara must unlock the secret behind the tarot’s deadly powers.
“Tarot” is now showing in more than 100 theaters nationwide. The movie is said to be well made and excellently acted and produced horror film of the season that’s why it received the highest grade from CEB. It’s also the birthday treat of both the Regal matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde and the primetime queen Marian Rivera.
